用筆記本打開,並在最後加入下列三行..存檔後關閉筆記本.

執行程式,進入遊戲.....你可以打"漢字"了....
(某些日文沒支援的漢字顯示不出來是正常的,雙字元語系的語言應該都可以用這
種方法來修改)
以上是英文介面(含英文任務說明),但你可以使用漢字與其他也如此設定的玩家
溝通(包含使用日文版的)

下方Language選項選成Japanese即可用日文版,同時也能看到漢字.

純英文版的玩家還是可以看到你的英文,你也可以用英文溝通...
但是若你使用漢字,純英文版的人只能看到 "口口口口...."
所以記得請你的華人朋友,也要用這方式改才能看得到中文喔....

Place in SWG Root Directory (Default -- C:\Program Files\Star Wars Galaxies)
Try not to download more than 2 at a time. SOE will cut your connection for a second and youll get corrupt patch files.

STEP 4:
Set Login Server (Skip If Using Your Own Server)
1. Open swgemu_login.cfg with any local text editor
2. Set the value of "loginServerAddress0=" to whatever server ip you wish to connect to and save. (Set it to: "loginServerAddress0=tc.spraticnet.net" for eXiled Test Center)

Earlier this evening the Login Server (hosted in Chicago) crashed after a 20 minute lag spike on Nova: TC. All those who remained in game are able to stay logged in, however if you were disconnected, or are disconnected during the time period that the login server is down, you will be unable to connect.
The login server being down will produce A BAD PASSWORD ERROR; this does not mean your account is compromised, it's just a bug.
Please be patient until we can get the login server restarted, until that time, no one will be able to log into the TC.

SWGEmu provides a patcher that can patch any build of the game to the PreCU version. SWGEmu does not provide the actual SWG client itself, you must install the game with the retail disks. The retail disks can be obtained for as little as $10 online. You may NOT use the official SWG trial client with the SWGEmu Launchpad Enhanced patcher.SWGEmu Account Creation
To table of contents To play on any SWGEmu server (SunCrusher, TC: Nova), you must register a global SWGEmu account. Note: this is NOT required for servers that run Core3 but are not run by SWGEmu (no servers like this at the moment). To create your SWGEmu account, go to our Forums at www.swgemu.com/forums. Only create one account, multiple accounts are not allowed. There is no limit on the number of characters on your account, so there is no reason to have more than one account. An activation e-mail will be sent to you. If you have problems creating your account, either request a new activation e-mail, or join IRC at irc.swgemu.com and join #swgemusupport for assistance. To table of contents - 1) Clean the dust off your Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) discs and install like normal.
- Optional: After installation, you can remove any of the official SOE Station software if you would like.
- 2) Download Launchpad Enhanced (LPE) and install it. LPE will make your setup for playing on any Core3 server a painless process.
- 3) There is only one server running at the moment, the SWGEmu Test Center Nova (when Core3 v1.0 hits, there will be other servers to select from). For now, ensure Nova is selected as the server on LPE. Select “Game Options” to set your resolution and other game options.
- 4) Once LPE updates, press “Play”. Your Forum account login is also your game login on TC: Nova. If you are stuck at the loading screen and unable to connect, the server is most likely down. Check the website for the latest server status. Remember it is a TEST CENTER, downtime may occur without notice.

IF YOU WANT AN AUTOMATIC INSTALLER THAT DOES ALL THE STEPS BELOW, GO HERE Launchpad Enhanced RESPONDING TO THIS THREAD WILL PROBABLY GET YOU VERY FEW ANSWERS SINCE WE HAVE A LAUNCHPAD. HOW TO CONNECT TO THE CORE3 TEST SERVER
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THAT SWGEMU WILL OPEN CORRECTLY!
USERS WITH A WORKING INSTALL OF SWG MAY SCROLL DOWN TO THE SECTION MARKED "FOR USERS WITH A WORKING INSTALL OF SWG".
FOR USERS WITHOUT A WORKING INSTALL OF SWG (Patched through Publish 13):
Step 1: Install Star Wars Galaxies with the original game discs.
Step 2: Follow the steps listed in the section below titled "For Users With A Working Install of SWG". When you reach steps 8 and 9, you may be missing some patch files depending on when you bought your installation CD's used in step 1. Follow the instructions there, you should be fine.
FOR USERS WITH A WORKING INSTALL OF SWG (Patched through Publish 13):
Step 1: Download WinRAR trial (This will be needed to open the Emu Installer) here: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar362.exe -Open it to install WinRAR.
Step 2: Download the Swgemu Installer at http://swgemu.com/swgemu/downloads/InstallSWGEmu.zip . You will need to have at least .NET framework 2.0 to run it, so ensure that Windows is up-to-date.
Step 3: Install the SWGEmu files by extracting the zip file INSIDE your SWG DIRECTORY (C:\Program Files\Starwars Galaxies by default) and running "SWGEmu_Installer". It will look something like this:
Set the download to install into your SWG Directory, wherever that may be.
Make sure that the settings are set at "Prompt..." on both options. If you already have the patch files up to date DO NOT CLICK 'YES' to re-download when prompted, because cancelling the download after clicking 'yes' will lead to incomplete and corrupted patch files.
Step 5: If you still play SOE's version of Star Wars Galaxies or patched your game up-to-date with SOE's launchpad, you will need to follow this step. If you do/have not, skip this step.
In a recent publish, SOE changed many of the DLL files used to play SWG from their original versions. SWGEmu is unplayable with these new changes. To correct this, download the DLL pack here: swgemu_dllpackage.zip After downloading and extracting the DLL files, copy them into your Star Wars Galaxies directory. If prompted to replace existing files, click 'yes to all'.
Step 6: Go into the Star Wars Galaxies Directory. Right click the SWGEmu.exe file, click "Send To.." and then "Desktop (Create Shortcut)". The SWGEmu.exe file is shown below.
Step 7: Right click the newly created shortcut on the desktop, go to 'Properties' and delete the text in the "target" field.
Now in the blank target field put the following text into that box (Do not leave out the ").
"C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxies\SWGEmu.exe" -- -s Station subscriptionFeatures=1 gameFeatures=255
Two Things to Remember:
1. It is case-sensitive! If so much as one letter or capitalization is off, SWGEmu will not run!

After you have entered the new target information, click 'Apply' and then 'OK'.
Step 8: Download and install the File Checker here: http://swgemu.com/file_checker.zip
Once downloaded, extract the files and open the .exe file named "File".
Follow the program's instructions to check for files needed.
NOTE: .toc Files are not needed for SWGEmu, as confirmed by Ramsey.
Step 9: If you are missing or have corrupted files, follow this step. If you do not, move on the the section marked "For Users With a Working Install of SWG" and follow the steps therein.
Use your file checker log as a guide, and download each file that you are missing. This may take a little while, as the files can be quite big.
When you are finished, move on to step 10.
Step 10: Go to your SWGEmu directory again. Locate a file named "swgemu_login.cfg". Open it in notepad. In this file you will need to go to the last line and edit the IP address/Web Address at the end of the text line
with whatever one the server you registered to provided you with. In this case, it will be the SWGEmu Core3 Test server. (NOTE: The info in the picture below is not the actual server address and port)
In order to find out the SWGEmu Test Server IP and Port, please log on to SWGEmu's IRC chat, type /join #test and look in the TOPIC. It will tell you the server status and the IP / PORT of Test Center.
If you are unfamiliar with SWGEmu IRC, follow the guide provided at the URL below. When you have installed found the IP and Port, return to this guide and continue following the steps. Guide: http://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2467
Once you have entered the IP address/web address and port correctly SAVE the file and exit it.
Step 11: Now you are ready to run the SWG Emulator, just double click the shortcut and the game will start up and bring you to a login screen.
NOTE: If SWGEmu fails to start, creates a black screen but never really opens, or does anything other than bring you to a login screen, scroll down to the "COMMON PROBLEMS" section and follow the instructions there!
Step 12: BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO LOG IN, CHECK IRC (channel #test) FOR SERVER STATUS (UP/DOWN)! If it is down, you will not be able to proceed any further until it is up. If you have made it to the login screen, the chances of encountering a problem are VERY slight. Read ahead anyway so you will be prepared for when the server is up.
Once SWGEmu is open to a login screen, enter any username and password to log in, it will auto-create an account for you.
Step 13: Create a character as usual, and Log in to SWGEmu!! Make sure to test whatever it is that the SWGEmu developers want tested. Congratulations on a successful installation! Enjoy

Making a character on Core3.
This is a guide to creating a character on the public Core3 test server. There are a few minor bugs in the system, and it seems to confuse people. I've put this together to assist those who are confused.
CHARACTER CREATION:
Step 1. Click "create new character" at the bottom right of the character selection list.
Step 2. Select the only server available: Core3
Step 3. Select your race, gender, physical appearance, and starter profession.
Step 4. Give your new character a UNIQUE FIRST NAME! the client will not inform you if this name is in use, it simply will not create the character if it is not unique! so make sure that NO ONE has the name you use.
Step 4a. In some cases, you will receive a "Generating Character...Please wait..." message. If you receive this message, simply press cancel, and continue on with the guide.
Step 5. You will then be brought back to character selection, and server will appear as Offline.
Step 6. Go back to the login screen, your information should still be in the boxes, if not, re-enter it.
Step 7. Press "Next", and you should now be able to select your character, server reading as Online, and login.

We think it sucks.
But some people like it.
For those of us who don't, I have found a way to use the movement system from Pre-Publish 14.
You can do this a couple different ways.
A) You can install Launchpad Enhanced, and it will automatically download the modification for you.
or
B) You can extract the file needed yourself using SWGExplorer.
The file is object/creature/player/base/shared_base_player.iff
The newest TRE pre-pub 14 with that file in it, I believe is Patch06.tre.
You will need to place this file in object/creature/player/base INSIDE your main SWGEmu directory.
IE: Mine is
C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxiesEmuPUB14\object\creature\pla yer\base
If you do not want the old movement mod, simply delete the file from that directory.
Using this mod does NOT give you an edge over other players. It is simply a preference.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: The use of the Sony SWG 14-day Trial client is illegal, and considered piracy. Anyone found to be using this client to attempt to log into our Test Center will be banned from all SWGEmu Properties, including Test Center, Forums, and IRC.
There are multiple legal ways to acquire a legitimate client, should you need one. Amazon.com, Ebay, etc. are examples of online stores our community members have been successfully finding very inexpensive copies of SWG.
You will only need "An Empire Divided" (the original boxed games from '03) to play on Test Center. However, any legitimate copy of SWG, including "Complete Online Adventures" (and all the NGE patches it comes with) will work perfectly with the emulator.
UPDATE: The "Direct Digital Download" from Sony no longer is a substitute for the disks. YOU MUST HAVE THE PHYSICAL DISKS IN ORDER TO PLAY.
Remember, you must own a legitimate copy of SWG to utilize the emulator.
