SWGEmu provides a patcher that can patch any build of the game to the PreCU version. SWGEmu does not provide the actual SWG client itself, you must install the game with the retail disks. The retail disks can be obtained for as little as $10 online. You may NOT use the official SWG trial client with the SWGEmu Launchpad Enhanced patcher.

SWGEmu Account Creation

To table of contents To play on any SWGEmu server (SunCrusher, TC: Nova), you must register a global SWGEmu account. Note: this is NOT required for servers that run Core3 but are not run by SWGEmu (no servers like this at the moment). To create your SWGEmu account, go to our Forums at www.swgemu.com/forums. Only create one account, multiple accounts are not allowed. There is no limit on the number of characters on your account, so there is no reason to have more than one account. An activation e-mail will be sent to you. If you have problems creating your account, either request a new activation e-mail, or join IRC at irc.swgemu.com and join #swgemusupport for assistance.

Easy Client Setup (Windows)

• 1) Clean the dust off your Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) discs and install like normal.
• Optional: After installation, you can remove any of the official SOE Station software if you would like.
• 2) Download Launchpad Enhanced (LPE) and install it. LPE will make your setup for playing on any Core3 server a painless process.
• 3) There is only one server running at the moment, the SWGEmu Test Center Nova (when Core3 v1.0 hits, there will be other servers to select from). For now, ensure Nova is selected as the server on LPE. Select “Game Options” to set your resolution and other game options.
• 4) Once LPE updates, press “Play”. Your Forum account login is also your game login on TC: Nova. If you are stuck at the loading screen and unable to connect, the server is most likely down. Check the website for the latest server status. Remember it is a TEST CENTER, downtime may occur without notice.
